Update from Our Extension Campus in Nayarit!
“This quarter has been very productive and exciting. The students are really enjoying the Theology class as well as being challenged in the Vision class. “The Power of Vision” class has come at a perfect time, as we are perfecting the vision for our Mexican Organization as well as helping the students determine more clearly what the Lord wants to do through them once they have finished the required amount of classes in order to graduate. It’s been really exciting to hear how God has been speaking to people. This has become something very essential as we “Raise up Leaders in Rural Mexico.” My passion is to help people reach towards their leadership potential. Many of us are afraid to take risks and I’m so excited to see how everyone is growing!” — Steve Silberman, director of the Nayarit extension campus in Mexico.
Last Call for Graduation!
Time is running out to register for graduation! We’ve extended the deadline for graduation from the 7th to the 10th of May. After the 10th, you will not be able to register for graduation. We will be ordering the caps and gowns onthe 11th!
Graduation will be held Saturday, June 20th, at Olive Knolls Church. Graduates must arrive promptly at 7:30 A.M. for rehearsal and pictures. The doors will open for guests at 9:00 A.M. and the ceremony will begin at 10:00 A.M. Please save the date and times on your calender!

CMTA Impact Conference
This past weekend we had the opportunity to be an exhibitor at the CMTA conference in Pasadena. This conference consisted of different workshops, training ministers in their specific ministries. The exposure we received for the college was phenomenal! It was amazing to hear how many people from different parts of California had heard of Summit in some way or another. Opportunities like these are so powerful for Summit. Not only did we have a chance to tell people about our college, but we were also able to minister God’s love!
Christian Counseling Ethics
Christian Counseling Ethics is this Saturday!
This course offers formal counseling and technical guidelines in dealing with ethical issues, concerns and accountability. Counseling morality and state and national examples are given. It covers important topics such as maintaining a biblical mandate, counseling children, domestic violence, ethical issues in counseling substance abusers, and counseling legal issues!
Speakers include Dr. Michael Mannia, J.D Newquist, Dr. Sherry Rose, Daniel Owens, and Dr. Jeff Victor!
It will be held Saturday, May 9th from 9:00 A.M to 3:30 P.M.

Worship Seminar
Our yearly worship seminar, Lifestyle of Worship, is one of our biggest events! You definitely don’t want to miss out on this special time of refreshment and worship.
This year’s topics for the conference include the Biblical foundations of worship, expressions of worship, rest in worship, entering into the presence of God, and more!
It will be held Saturday, May 30th, from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Gate, 2010 O Street, 93301.
